Macy’s has (or used to have) Martha Stewart dutch ovens. I can’t remember the price but I think $99.00 but then they go on sale and there are coupons and if there is a full moon there is an additional amount off. I’ve even seen them on clearance. They are just so heavy…
@takeitallin Have you heard back yet from Lord & Taylor? Now the jacket is higher priced but the current coupon codes of VETERAN or SENIORS, do work. Actually “SENIOR” brings it down to $55.12 (before shipping) which is less than the $58.80 we paid but which should have been $47.04.

I’m not doing Thanksgiving, my sister is.
But I went to Stop and Shop yesterday with their card, and got a 21 lb turkey for $8. I’ll keep it frozen until President’s week in February-- a nice turkey dinner will make those snowy nights (and it ALWAYS snows during that week!!) a whole lot cozier.
I saw Le Creuset dutch ovens for $169 today at TJ Maxx too. I’m not sure what size they were, pretty big, but not as big as they get. Right next to one was a Cuisinart dutch oven. Far less money and the cast iron core was thicker.
Got a “FREE” turkey for having spent a total of $250 at our local supermarket. Have coupons that I could redeem for additional turkeys (if we had more freezer space).
^^ @HImom there are always places looking for donations of turkeys this time of year. If you can get them for free, why not donate them? If not, then donate the free coupons to you local church/synagogue/food pantry.
Thanks–will think about how to get that accomplished. Maybe will give it to some of the needy who attend my support groups.
