My pleasure, Packmom. I’ve found that if you go through the USAA website to the Hertz, Avis, etc links, even though you are then leaving the USAA site, there are better deals and prices (deals include no upcharge for rentals by someone under 25, etc) than if you go directly to the car rental site and then put in the USAA code. I’ve rented in Chicago, Houston and White Plains NY (metro NY) airport for around $20/day, and in less pricey places like New Orleans and Tucson for $8-12/day!! This spring I rented a HUGE SUV thing (we got a Jeep Commander or something) in Salt Lake City in the middle of ski season for about $40/day. That was a real deal!

Used a 20% off entire purchase BBB coupon (expired) this past Friday in Ohio with NO problem. I said “I hear you aren’t taking expired coupons anymore”. The guy said “we sure do”. He further explained…they take expired MAILED coupons or ones from the newspaper but NOT expired internet coupons.

Kohls online has great prices on NCAA apparel and I found an extra discount using code “Extra20”. I got 2 adult sweatshirts (including shipping) for less than $50.

Body Shop is offering any 3 items (some limits) for $30 with free shipping today only

somemom, I found that out after having fallen for the 3-for-$30 deal on Friday for which I did pay shipping. At least I got Mr. Rebates cash back on my order.

Skinit dot com has buy one get one free, after you put them in your basket us the code CYBERMON. They have skins for laptops, phones, game controls, eReaders, etc. I bought laptop skins a couple of years ago for DH and DD they are still in excellent condition (DD customized hers, she loves it). You can customize with a personal photo if you like. As I recall the shipping was fairly quick.

worry- they are out of so many things, you probably did better on Friday. I was going for 3 body butters, but then wanted to add make up too, even the ones I was able to add to my cart turned out to be sold out when I went to check out. I forgot to do MrRebates :(:(:(

Went to BBB today. They took an expired coupon without even looking at the date.

H and D need slippers. Usually I ordered H’s from LL Bean. They are not discounting your purchase and the only offer is free shipping. Lands End on the other hand would be less expensive and they have some savings if you spend a certain amount. Has anyone bought the moccasin type of slipper from Lands End? I went to Sears to look at them but they weren’t carrying them. I guess they think people in Ca don’t wear slippers.

My family has been very happy with the Lands End fleece clog slippers. We haven’t tried the moccasin.

My husband likes the Lands End moccasin.
If anyone likes elastic waist corduroy pants, Lands Ends has women’s for $20-$25 today with free shipping. I’ve been wearing these for 3 years and love them. They have some stretch but keep their shape. It’s like wearing pajamas to work.
There are other sales with discounts for spending $75 or $150. Promo code Nov29, pin 7140.

Too late to edit above. Pin is 7410

My daughter loves her llbean mocs. llbean has replaced them for free on two different occasions, so essentially she has had 3 new pairs for the price of one. The first pair the fleece around the back tore away from the slipper; she sent them back and received a new pair about 4 years ago. This fall, her puppy might have gotten ahold of one of her slippers and decided that the fleece didn’t belong inside the shoe. She lives in DC and their is a llbean store nearby; they were happy to replace that pair also, no questions asked.

I think I got my money’s worth on this pair of slippers!

I buy stuff from both Lands End and Bean. I would say that the Bean stuff is generally a touch higher quality, but it’s close.

BTW, I gave up on slippers. I like to wear them around the house instead of muddy shoes and I was going through slippers like crazy. I finally just started wearing Sperry Top Siders as slippers. The perfect all-around house slipper and they last forever.

For those who like Woot, there is a Woot Off going on right now.

Has anyone found an equivalent to last years BurtsBees 20% coupon? I tied the old code and it was rejected. Their Grabbag stuff was a big hit with all my female recipients last Christmas…

cathymee, I know longer recall what I paid this year, as I ordered mine the first day it came out (seems like so long ago). I did have codes at that time to some free lip balms in a beetin and some other free lip stuff. I ordered the grab bag and the new men’s grab bag. I have to tell you that the regular grab bag was not, in my opinion, as good as the one last year. It was worth what I paid for it, but for me, it was not nearly as good. I did not even look into the men’s grab bag to comment. I think the bee tin did have a dollar off coupon in it, so if you get this freebie item, look for that. Have you tried retailmenot dot com for codes?

Code 20BURT for an additional 20% off. If you buy two you meet the $40 for free shipping.

Mom2M
Thanks…I had found that one online but it didnt work for me at the checkout.the wording “Family and friends discount” …or similar wording…came up in red next to the code box once I entered it but it didnt give a discounted $$ amount…I’ll try it again if you say it worked for you!

I don’t know if you ordered yet. I used “beetin” for the free lip balm (comes in a tin with pics of bees). I don’t recall the other codes. I know that just a few days after I used that code, it no longer worked. It is still worth a try.

Old Navy has a coupon one can print online for 30% off one item. If you can land something on sale and use the 30% coupon, it could be a pretty good deal. I got a long sleeved men’s rugby shirt (orig. $25, marked down to $10, and used this coupon top of that. Final cost was $7).
