Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

I’m going to have to watch for the newer rolling clock to hit a sale (fingers crossed). My hs Sr. has hit a slump where he can NOT get up. It started last year with the alarm clock, so he went to his phone alarm. Now that’s not working. Thankfully DH is up at 5:15am and can jolt him up, but something’s going to have to change before he leaves for school next year. This may be it.

CD - How in the world would one eat a gummy worm that big? Slice it like a jelly roll? I love when you find something SO specific to your kid. Cheers!!

I will join thumper - thanks, abasket, for starting this thread! It is very helpful. For instance, I saved close to $300 on a weekly car rental in Boston for DH thanks to the tips posted by helpful CC’ers.

Perpetual kid site hand sanitizer got uncontrollable belly laughs here! What can I say, we’re easily amused! Great site.

^^^Agreed, hand sanitizer has me LMAO. kathiep, hope you post that website on the thread about sending your kids care packages.

blueiguana, you should check out flying alarm clocks for your son. My dd has clocky and I have threaten to buy her one of the flying ones.

Hey, you’re welcome for the thread idea - I check it all the time myself! I think I started either around Christmas time or just after the holidays cause I appreciate “good buys” all the time - I always figure if I find one, might as well share the ideas with others!

thanks to all the perpetual kids out there! i dont have time to shop this morning, but i sure got a great laugh to start my day.

The Amazon gift card deal showed up in my daily Living Social email. Bought 1 for me and 1 for H – we can use them to buy Kindle books. (Says 1 per individual.)

thanks, northeastmom, for tip on edible arrangements - just ordered one as a hostess gift for this afternoon!

Came to post the Amazon gift card but you guys are ahead of me :)

This is such a great time to go to high end outlet malls. Last night they were slashing already discounted prices another 50% I scored a $1250 Burberry trench coat for $148. And a $590 classic leather Coach bag for $67. Both items I actually NEEDED. H bought 5 shirts and a wool jacket at the Barneys outlet all for $180. We totaled up the original prices on that lot to about $958.
For those of you in Calif…this was at [Desert Hills Premium Outlets](http://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/outlet.asp?id=6)

Musicamusica-I wish I had known. Yesterday when I hit Nordstrom Rack I considered driving another 15 minutes south to the Camarillo Outlets but decided against it. I would love a new wallet.

That’s funny mom60, I was actually looking for a wallet, but didn’t find anything. I think the discounts on stuff like wallets were not as heavy since they are not really considered “seasonal” merchandise.

Thanks for the Amazon deal. I just purchased one for me and one for H. I will give them to D before she heads back to college next week to use on books she needs to order!

Thanks for posting that musicamama…I just checked our outlet mall and see many sales there too. Also found out that on Tuesdays anyone over 50 gets an additional 10% off their entire purchase at most stores (must present proof at checkout). I think I feel a sudden case of Tuesdayitis coming on for my and my sis!
