<p>I would definitely recommend that you take the course. You are currently adept at style, but it’s also important to become adept at function, which APCS will do for you.</p>

<p>Hm, I don’t quite remember that being the case last year. Having 30% of the MC be questions of that style seems redundant. There are obviously better ways to test for understanding of loops. As you noted, I still feel as if these loops require you to think, even if the questions are mechanical. I’d be happy to see something unique and novel thrown in - for example, a loop bound being i * i, or a for loop using something besides numerical iteration.</p>
