<p>Speaking of evil “poor” people who have refrigerators (!! - and some even have air conditioners!), Thurs. Aug 18’s episode of The Daily Show is a must see. Stewart is absolutely brilliant here.

<p>A young girl growing up the inner city has the same shot at medical school as a middle- or upper-class suburban kid? Please. Study after study has shown the inferior education available to lower-class kids. </p>

<p>And BTW the term “welfare queen” is not only disgusting and offensive; it’s not even true. To sell welfare reform, Ronald Reagan fabricated a story about a woman in Chicago who was supposedly abusing welfare benefits on an epic scale. Yep, that’s right; the Great Communicator MADE IT UP.</p>
