dmVP29 is lying, as Staticsoliloquy pointed out.

I see. So dmVP29, if you truly did lie according to the two users, I want to take this opportunity to ask you WHY. You must have had some sort of reason to type all that BS out for a specific reason, right? Did you want to point out that nothing is a guarantee?

If so, don’t you think the people on this board are smart enough to KNOW that? I mean tell me, really. Am I going overboard to say that finding out such thing was a lie post just makes me angry? What other message does this convey? People can lose hope over what you’ve posted! They can feel less confident, and jump to conclusions such as “oh, if someone like that can’t get in, how can I?”

Sorry about this if what you’ve posted is true. But if it is not, posts like these are just absolutely SICK.

Whoa Tami. Take a look at the thread I made about a relative’s Harvard admissions experience, you’ll see one perspective for “lying.” In my case, I gave full disclosure, saying that I was changing a few immaterial things, i.e. specific instrument, location, etc. and replaced them with comparables in terms of competitiveness. dmVP29 may or may not be “lying” in his example stats.

Thank you so very much for all the info on this page.
You are all most definitely amazing people and I wish you the very best - whether accepted or not

If they have already been accepted, what’s the point of continuing to post on here. I mean, this is a site for advice, so once you are in, you don’t need any more advice.
