What does this statement mean (about the taking the Physics series at CCC)?

I'm looking at the assist.org major requirements for CSE for UCLA and it says
"Please note that the although this agreement may include separate individual equivalencies with Physics 1A, 1B, 1C, 4AL and 4BL, the entire sequence of CCC courses must be taken in order to receive transfer credit for UCLA's 1ABC series." Does this mean I need to take it in sequential order or I must do them so that I get transfer credit. Also, can anyone confirm that I don't have to the Physics series all at the same school for sister colleges?

You need to take all. Sequence only refers to the pre-req noted for each course. Sometimes the physics series is not 100% sequential. Go by pre-reqs.

The best answer will come from a phone call or email to UCLA admissions, or by meeting with the UC counselor that regularly visits your CCC.

My interpretation is that you need to take the entire sequence of a given class at your CC. For example suppose Physics 1A articulates to Physics 100A or 110A at your CC, Physics 1B articulates to Physics 100B or 110B at your CC, etc. If you start the 100 series then you must take all the classes in the 100 series; you can't take 100A and then 110B.

But I don't work in UC admissions or the CSE dept, best to check directly with them

"Also, can anyone confirm that I don't have to the Physics series all at the same school for sister colleges?" It's of course up to you how to play this, but what are you going to do if someone gives you this assurance and they're wrong?

@mikemac There’s nothing ambiguous about the quoted statement. It says the entire sequence must be taken at a CCC. No ambiguity. The question of 1,2,3,4 etc in that order is not necessarily the case as it is based on listed pre-reqs for the course in question.
