Very sad…

Gasp!!!

My phone just alerted me :(

[Entertainment | Whitney Houston, superstar of records, films, dies | Seattle Times Newspaper](http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/entertainment/2017485885_apusobitwhitneyhouston.html)
drugs. bad.

Let this be a lesson to drug users.

How drugs can absolutely ruin your life.

She was talented and beautiful.

Shocked!

So sad…one of the greatest voices of our generation.

Sad, but not surprised

When she was at the height of her popularity, my daughters were completely enamored with her.

The Grammys are going to be a bit subdued tomorrow night. A lot of people will be in shock and mourning.

All the guys that I worked with in the 80s were absolutely in love with her. My DH adores her singing. What a sad story.

Very sad. We saw her a few times at D2’s school when her daughter was attending the same school. I loved her movies and her song. D1 was a big fan.

OMG

Whitney was the first celebrity I saw before she became famous. She was at a downtown hotel singing and dancing for a New Year’s Eve party back at least 25 years ago. We were dancing and singing very close to her and I just remember her being tall and gorgeous and what a voice!

Being the mom that I am, I can’t help but think of her daughter at this sad time. :(

I’m so very sad and sorry to hear this. So sad for her mother and daughter. Rest in peace.

So sad - I was really hoping she could pull it together and have a comeback of sorts. I’m sure this will impact the Grammys tomorrow night - wonder if they will put together some type of tribute on such short notice. How many people who were married in the 80S danced to “I will always love you” as their first dance?

How sad! My 13-year-old daughter was upset when she saw the news scroll across the bottom of the TV screen. My 19-year-old son, on the other hand, said, “Who’s she?”

Oh well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. To be honest I care much more about the 16,000 children who will die of starvation today than one drugged up diva.

Tragic. I HATE DRUGS,
Take care in your next life, Whitney. We will remember your for your angelic voice.

She was a great performer 15-20 years ago, since then she is nothng but a drug addict, no different then any other drug addict…zero sympathy for her!

She had the resources and contacts to reform her life, unlike other addicts…Who 20 years ago would have thought Bobby Brown would have outlived her

Completely agree.
