@ishmuk7707 Northwestern is my #1 choice and I hope I don't have to apply anywhere else, but I in the back of my mind I have around two safeties (such as IIT and DePaul), and many other reach schools (including UCs and an Ivy or two).

last year they posted on thursday 14th, the year before wednesday the 14th, the year before that monday the 14th... so it'll probably be released on friday but possibly thursday?

Hey everyone, I'd love some feedback here. I think I have a shining application, although I forgot to follow through with the interviews even though I had the opportunity to. The website says that it won't impact my application, but what do you guys think?

Thats kinda how i am. im not doing any ivys because i'm barely good enough to even THINK about NU lol. I did a ton of UCs because that's where everyone from my area applies lol

@OgmurBoi I don't think it will hurt at all, applying ED already shows demonstrated interest, and during the interview they asked me pretty general questions just to get to know me a little more.

@ishmuk7707 My stats aren't the greatest, I just barely hit a 32 on the ACT and have a decent GPA (95/100), but I really do think I have a unique story with strong extracurriculars that make me stand out.

Also @ishmuk7707 I'm also extremely nervous about the decision. Getting accepted means I can stay very close to home (Northwestern is only 10 minutes away!) and not having to worry about future applications and decisions.

@ishmuk7707 I applied to Chemical Engineering. When Mr. Ellis, an admissions officer, came to visit our school, he talked about how for people applying to McCormick, they pay slightly more attention to math and physics scores. Luckily, my math has always been near perfect, as well as my physics, so I'm kind of grasping for every small detail hoping that they boost my chances. What major did you apply to? Also, I think I said this somewhere on this thread but through my tours, I can kind of infer that they divide the applicant pool into certain geographic regions, meaning we probably won't be competing against each other for admission (I HOPE), which is always a good sign.
