Have any OOS applicants heard from UT Austin yet? If so, I'd love to know which school, McCombs, Moody, Liberal Arts.

    Same. The official notification deadline, if you applied by the priority deadline, is February 1st, with a possible deferral to March 1st, so may be a while yet... Please share if anyone hears. Good Luck.

    My student applied 10/30/19 and was accepted OOS to Moody 12/13/19. No decision on honors college yet, just Moody.

    I was accepted into Moody's Journalism program at UT Austin!

    I am an OOS from California. I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area reppin' Richmond! I received my decision on 12/13. I applied 10/30.

    Here are my stats if they help anybody :)

    ACT: 28
    SAT: 1200
    GPA: 4.11 (Weighted)
    GPA: 3.97 (Unweighted)
    ECs: Lots of strongs ECs with leadership positions
    Essays: Amazing :)
    Recs: Amazing as well except for one
    7 APs + 2 Community College Classes
    Top 5% in my OOS school (I know UT doesn't even care about that lol)

    I am Latinx/Black male, low-income, and experienced a lot of adversity so I know that was taken into account in my holistic review.

    Got our Honors acceptance from Moody today. So it was about a week between college acceptance and honors notification. It also said "we will notify you in February of your scholarship offer"--is there a scholarship that goes along with Honors??

    Congrats! May I ask about your stats? My daughter also applied to Moody OOS and has not heard anything yet. I know people are saying that it is not a bad sign but i am not so sure....

    I was accepted on 12/13 to the College of Education and am waiting on Liberal Arts Honor Application. Hook Em!

    ACT: 34
    GPA: 3.9 UW/ 4.6 W (IB Diploma student)
    Extracurriculars: had many but the ones that stand out are Varsity Captain of swim team (on the team for 4 years), Lacrosse Team, President of NAHS

    Our DS is OOS and was accepted to engineering on Dec 29. He submitted his application the end of October.

    If any of your OOS children applied after the priority deadline (i.e., after November 1 but before December 1), it would be helpful to know if they have heard back. I'm assuming UT won't get to those until much later this month or next month.

    my daughter applied by the priority deadline and has not heard back and her stats are not bad.

    Today's round seems to have been mostly in-state, unless there's someone out here that heard today? Still waiting - COLA (Govt) + Honors Application. Applied before priority deadline, but transcript was kicked out due to no rank (school doesn't rank) and so the portal says we are in the regular admissions group :neutral:
