Make sure to check out our July Checklists for HS Juniors and HS Seniors. Consult these quick resources to get you started on the process this month.
As we work to adjust to the current reality, make sure to check out these dedicated COVID-19 resources: our directory of virtual campus tours, our directory of extended deadlines, as well as the list of schools going test optional this fall.

Any advice would be most appreciated...tough decision...

My D20 was lucky enough to be offered admission at Duke, Emory (with $10k per yr scholarship), Fordham (full ride), UVA, William & Mary (Monroe Scholar), UF (Honors program and bright futures scholarship), FSU Honors (bright futures scholarship). She is interested in studying Psychology/Neuroscience and wants opportunity for research. We have saved money for her education so we can afford whichever school she selects...with that said since she has some scholarships we dont want to be stupid but we are willing to pay if it will be more helpful to her in the long run.

Anyone have insights into the schools she is considering and what they have to offer for psychology? Also, she is musical and not a party kid but still quite social social. Thanks for any thoughts as they may help in a tough decision.

(FYI...waitlisted at UNC Chapel Hill, Davidson, and rejected at Stanford)

My DD20 had some of the same choices and tonight decided on Emory. She likes the research opportunities for undergrads at Emory and feels the school has an active social life but not too much of a party school.

Does she prefer a city environment or suburban environment?

@NJCity she likes being near a city for ease of transportation but does not want to be in the middle of a city...but also does not want to be in the middle of no-where.
