0 Period

I say go for it.
Crappy public schools in FL don’t have 0 period, so I’m insanely jealous.
Although I second what SLightManifesto said about being able to shower afterward.

Ours is called “Early Bird”.

^

Ditto.

Sounds like a good idea. I would do the same, but I do not have the fortune of having a 0 Period. Yet another one of the misfortunes of private school, I guess.

Zero period PE sounds alright. At least exercise will wake you up.

I’m in a zero period Theory of Knowledge class and it’s miserable. Trying to have a lively class discussion at 6:30 AM is like pulling teeth. It’s the only option though, TOK is only offered before or after school and I do theatre after school. The things I put myself through for a ****ing IB diploma… D: haha

This isn’t a class, but during the spring, the football players have practice at 5:30 am.

^our swim team does that…yikes.

Yeah, I can’t imagine doing that mess. Good thing they only do it once a week.

Our school has one and it’s after 2nd block (block schedule). It’s a time to catch up on homework, go to club meetings, goof around, or sleep if you wanted to.

Haha, our school runs on a block system (8 classes in total, 4 classes/day, alternates every day). But the magnet school I’m in has an extra period 45 minutes before the ‘other’ school starts, so our school starts at 7:00 and ends at the normal time - 3:00. The extra period is a real class, not just a goof off period, sadly. :(

But yeah, your idea sounds great. It opens up an extra period, which is always good.

This sounds like an awesome plan, if something like this was offered at my school I would definitely do it, since I already go to a gym every morning.
