<p>Helllo everyone, I have enrolled in a european history class, and 7 books are required for this class alone. Is this normal for a history class? I didn’t know this much reading was required… Also, the ucla store marked two books as optional, so would it be okay to skip the optional books?</p>
<p>Most have had four required books in my experience. If it says optional, it probably means it’s optional. That means the professor marked it as optional.</p>
