it is possible that no matter how hard you study you will not get an A in a course.

^ very unfortunate, but so true.

Depends on the UC…here at UCI the econ courses aren’t that bad. I haven’t gotten lower than an A in an econ course yet knocks on wood, however my study times have varied. Some professors work you hard till the end, some ease up after the midterm, some tighten up after the midterm, some professors don’t grade homework…etc…so it definitely depends on the professor you get. Don’t get me wrong, these classes aren’t a “breeze”, nor are they “hard”…In my opinion the overall “hardness/challenging” level at UCI is “medium”…take that for what you will…Nobody can give a definitive answer to your question because everyone studies differently and some take longer to learn than others. Hope this helps and don’t stress out too much over this :)
