Chance me at:
NYU
BU
WashU in St. Louis
U of I
Brown
Cornell (legacy-brother)
Dartmouth
Caltech
Amherst
University of Chicago
Stanford
Berkeley (out of state)
Pomona (legacy-brother)
MIT

My top choices are Brown/Amherst. Would applying ED be significantly helpful? I don’t know if I can handle that much pressure.

I don’t usually reply to chance threads, but I liked your title :p

Anyway, you obviously have a strong resume in terms of scores, ECs, and grades in challenging classes. This puts you in the running for any school on your list. After that, it all comes down to how well you can communicate your passion through essays and how your teacher recommendations turn out, but I’d say you have a good shot at any school on your list. BU and U of I are probable safeties, and the others are matches to reaches.

About ED, statistically speaking it does help to apply ED, but if you are not sure if the school is affordable, do not apply ED! I know that sounds like common sense but I’ve seen multiple threads about trying to get out of ED agreements because of underestimated financial aid.

you have a really good chance at NYU
BU
WashU in St. Louis
U of I
Cornell (legacy-brother)

the others are a bit of a reach

I don’t believe sibling legacy counts… =/, but I’d still say you are in at Cornell

From the midwest, I’d say you should be in at most of those schools. Amherst, Brown, and Dartmouth would probably the toughest, but from the midwest you are at an advantage over the sea of northeast applicants. And your resume is amazing anyway. I’d give you slight reach at Brown, Amherst, Dartmouth, but I would be surprised if you didn’t get into two of the three.

I forgot to add if all goes well in May … i will be an AP Scholar w/ Distinction. But anyways … thanks for all of the chances, anyone else have an opinion?

Love the title, lol.

I would say you are in for sure at all but Amherst, Dartmouth, Brown, Standford, MIT, and Caltech. You will be a very competitive candidate for those. I think you are most likely in at Brown.
