10.5 units for summer

Hi,

I am thinking of taking 4 classes during the summer to complete my icore prereqs, these are the classes:

Bus-T 275 1.5 units
Bus-L 201 3 units
Bus-X 201 3 units
Bus-Z 302 3 units

Considering that all of them are 6 week classes, and that L201 and X201 are heavyweights, do you think that it will be too overwhelming to also take Z302 as an extra class? Thanks.

Hi. Have you talked about your schedule with your advisor? Students are usually allowed to enroll in maximum 10 credit-hour courses during summer session. If you want to take more than 10 credits, you must enroll for a “course overload” on an exception basis.
(Maybe it’s only for the College of Arts and Sciences, just double check before you enroll)

For the amount of the works, advisors usually recommend taking up to 3 courses for summer sessions. Even 8-week courses during regular semester tend to move really fast, so I would not really recommend you taking all those 4 courses in one summer session.
