<p>I noticed when I was registering for the SAT there was an option to pay $10 extra to receive have an analysis done of my errors, etc. (not available for my April test date, however - why is that?). Has anyone purchased that and do you feel it was worth it? Also, I was offered the “official collegeboard” online study course for $69. Is that a good one? It sounds like its pretty much the book, in online format.</p>
<p>I always got the extra little score analysis things. They’re cheap. Don’t bother with the study course. Just get the blue book if you need prep.</p>

<p>You get to see the difficulty levels of the questions and whether you missed them, omitted them, or got them right. You also get to see the type of question i.e. passage-based reading, geometry, etc. It probably isn’t worth $10, but I figured, why not?</p>
<p>Don’t they show you that online anyway? (THe full score report or whatever it’s called - I know it tells you how many you got wrong, but I can’t remember what else it told me).</p>

<p>It is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY useful. I get the score report and redo the test by myself then compare to see if i got any of the same problems wrong again. Then I see how i got them wrong and what I should have looked for. I went from a 1440 to 1570 Math/Verbal this way. </p>
<p>Get the online course if you have extra time to prep. There are lots of practice tests on there.</p>

<p>It’s useful if you get a lot of questions wrong, generally do poor on the SAT’s, and want to know what type of question is your weakness and what fields require the most extra studying. Once you’ve hit 700+ in all the different sections it’s about useless.</p>
<p>I’m getting it. I want to know exactly what I get wrong so I can make a really hight score.</p>
