<p>Okay, this whole suburban people are conforming and are in complete ennui and depression and have extramarital affairs–SO OVERBLOWN. Sorry we’re not American Beauty/Revolutionary Road/Little Children/[insert suburb movie here]. And I LOVE those movies. But it’s pretty ignorant to just label it as “pretentious” (honestly disgusting that you would just throw around that word) and “boring.” Don’t tell ME if I am bored, or if my parents are bored.
