I’m not usually a fan of just posting an article and then opening it up for comment. But my heart feels a little richer - and a lot more sympathetic and impressed by the will of these students to make their mark.
The NYTimes awards 10 scholarships yearly to students who so far, beat the odds. They are pretty remarkable it seems.
