<p>Also, where on a 1040 can I locate “total cash, checking, savings, and cash value of stocks”, or is it not included?</p>
<p>1040s are 2 pages, so the scholarship application would require both.</p>
<p>There’s no place on the 1040 for the value of assets. That would have to be reported separately if needed.</p>
<p>Some scholarship applications ask for either a 1040 or a FAFSA SAR. Sometimes it’s easier to just send the SAR.</p>
