<p>If you get a 1098E regarding interest paid on the student’s behalf, is that for the subsidized or unsubsidized Stafford? Does that reflect interest DD paid? Or is it interest paid on her behalf on a subsidized loan?</p>
<p>We have never received any thing for interest paid on my daughter’s behalf on her subsidized loans. I am guessing this must be for interest she paid on the unsub loans.</p>

<p>We have paid interest on DS’s unsubsidized loans for years…and have never gotten anything at all besides his annual statement from the loan provider.</p>
