<p>Hi, I’m trying to fill out the FAFSA and it only gives me the options of 1040, 1040EZ, Foreign Tax Return or A Tax Return with a territory.</p>

<p>My mom filled out an 1120S form. What exactly does that classify as, and how do I fill the rest of this out? :(</p>

<p>An 1120S form is used to report certain kinds of income. It is filed in addition to, not instead of, the 1040. If your mom received income that required the filing of an 1120S, then she should have filed a 1040 as well.</p>

<p>1120s is a tax form for s corps(or a LLC filing as an s corp)…as stated above , this would be in addition to the 1040</p>
