12 chapters of psych + review in one weekend

Procrastinated, of course. Read around ~4 chapters (and a few pages of other chapters here and there) plus some pretty deep reading of SparkNotes.com’s psychology guides during lunch.

Is it possible to read the rest 10 chapters of Barron’s (out of 14) by Saturday night, then review/practice tests on Sunday, and manage to pull off a 4 this Monday?

Particularly worried about those FRQs… Not to mention still having stuff for Euro and Comparative Gov’t…

Bump. No AP Psych cram stories?

wouldnt so much call this a “success story” but I am in the same position as you ■■■■■.I honestly know barely anything on the psych. all I know is the disorders and treatment and social behavior lol. and i guess chapter 1 and 2 are kinda easy. thus I have 10 more chapters yet I am using the textbook. reading all of barron’s is definately possible and your best bet to get a 4. it will suck the amount of time it will take. but just read it all.
because you asked : success story part: we just took the 2007 test as our final and although I only got 68 multiple choice which was supposed to be equivalent to a high 3… the essay I beasted on boosted me up to a 5. : D do honeslty monday should be fine. an essay can SKYROCKET any grade.

Same situation, except I’m just now finishing chapter 6.

Le sigh

Sent from my iPhone using CC

O and if you have a textbook I would probably read the biology chapter, the treatments and disorders chapter and developmental. those chapters are the largest portion of the test. Hoenslty skim true the history and approaches its literally 2-4% of the exam.

Good thing I skipped that chapter for later… Just way to boring for me to care about.

Why not just use Barron’s then? Textbook’s just gonna be fatter and longer. We’re kinda short on time as well…

Anyone have any guides/tips/basics for the FRQs? I feel like at worst, I can kind of wing the MC, but the FRQs have the life scared out of me…

^same as everyone else lol.

for some idiotic reason I went through the whole year without buying a Barron’s whatever lol.
for the FRQs my teacher( who grades for ETS as well) said:

 1. there is usually always a question about a design a experiment or correlational sudy. so make sure you know that.
 2. When in doubt just basically write all you know about the given bullet point then attempt to somehow tie it into the scenario. but basically just say eveyrthing you can about it
 3. she gave us the collegeboard website to check up the FRQ from years before.
 4. there is usually not biology on the FRQ . social psych is usually once every few years but she said there hasn’t been a social psych one for a while so this might be the year…
 5. a bullet point or outline= auto zero.

Yeah I am in the same boat as you. ■■■

I feel like I’m gonna completely bomb the FRQs. I have 2 chapters left of Barron’s I’m doing tonight and going through the Barron’s notecards and reviewing all tomorrow with online resources. Hopefully I’ll do better on Psych than I will on APES. :/

4 chapters left to read. then practice test, and still gotta read chem -_-

Same boat as you guys, although I’ve only read two chapters out of Barron’s. I have to read through Barron’s in addition to my APES Princeton Review guide. Hopefully I’ll still be able to get a 5 on both because they do not seem like very difficult tests lol.

I’m in the same boat as you but with EnviroSci.

dam. its on monday and i have to start studying asap.
i am probably going to cram tonight alot(for ap chem also…)

ima go through piaget and all the other guys with stages and such. review some simple bio and dreams for tonight.

On Chapter 5 in Barrons. It is sooo boring, but I am getting it. I will hopefully finish it by tomorrow at noon, study vocab notecards, then skip physics and study all morning. I’m not worried.

In hindsight, I probably just should have taken it in college as a serious GPA booster -_-

Woooot, Saturday of procrastination. Only 7 chapters left -__-

This is going to be one long night…

^ same here -____-
Le sigh. good luck.

We’re the best of the best and we got this!

I read the entire barrons in 2 days. Wasn’t that bad, but took some work lol.

It’s still the FRQ’s scaring me, it’s kinda easy to differentiate from the terms and wing the MC, but FRQ… uggh.

All I want is a 4 now, hopefully that’s a possibility…
