12 units every semester

Hi everyone
I try to minimize the number of units i take per semester to the least so I can work on other things. Since 12 units is the requirement to receive maximum financial aids, I try to keep the number of units barely 12. I know some courses are prerequisites, but my question is would 12 unit per semester affects my chances of getting hired…You know, they might think I don’t know how to manage time.

The only thing companies care about when it comes to your courses, is if you learned anything from the ones that are related to the job duties.

E.g., a power systems only cares about courses you take related to power generation/analysis/trans. lines. and nothing else.

You taking 12 units means nothing. It just means it will take longer to graduate.

It doesn’t even mean that you will take longer to graduate… at my college, for most majors 4 courses per semester for eight semesters would mean you graduate in four years.

Nobody knows how many courses you took when you apply to jobs, and even if they did, they wouldn’t care.
