I’m not sure whether to submit it or not to the schools I’m applying I feel like there is a bias now against no test scores. I’m on the cusp of a high score and I took a gap year and it feels so long in the past. I’m applying to Upenn, Brown, Cornell, Northwestern, Duke, Columbia, Uchicago, UVA, Williams and I don’t know whether to submit it because I have a good narrative and am coming from a decent school.
Can you elaborate on your situation? You are applying as a transfer student who took a gap year, correct? How many semesters did you complete at your previous university? When did you graduate high school?
Most universities don’t really care very much about SAT scores for transfer students as it is a test designed for high school students.
At some you’ll have to - and at all it’s going to hurt you. You need additional schools.
Sorry.
It’s all test optional… I’m just curious if it’s better to submit than not
No Because it’s below even the 75th percentile for all. Unless you are first gen, etc it will hurt you and even eliminate you.
It is not a score that is up to those school’s regular level.
Good luck.
