wow…this thing is old, who bumped this…*tf

This kid is definitely a nerd. Do you have a life? Do you have alot of friends for that matter? From you situation, I can concluded that you don’t.

btw, how come you are 14 and still not in high school? Did you have to repeat any grade. At 14, I was a hs sophomore.

I was offered the same admission to Cal State LA, for me it was a 1200 on SAT in 8th grade and a good score on their other (IQ?) test. I chose high school, it’ll be interesting to see how you do. Best of luck
Cal State LA kind of depressed me, how are you enjoying it?

Go to a magnet high school and take AP classes. Go to CAMS, if you are in LAUSD system. Don’t miss out from high school. My son’s friend scored 1590 (800m, 790v) at age 12, and got numerous John Hopkins awards, He goes to our competitive public high school. Even my son scored 760m at age 12, and there are plenty of kids like him at his high school. I only know of one child prodigy, he was my son’s fellow piano student. He was featured on 20/20. He got into a university at age 12. And medical school at 14. Sho Yano. The caliber at Cal state LA ,and LACC is not that great. You can do better at CAMS with kids your own age. Just my thoughts.

Oops, I guess you have been at LACC for sometime now. Good luck on your transfer to UCLA. I still feel at age 14, you are missing out in high school. I think you very bright, but a child prodigy?

I’m not sure going to med school at age 14 is a wise thing to do. Sure there are some extremely intelligent kids who could excel in academics. I just turned 18 two months ago and Im enjoying my high school life as well as my graduate course in quantum mechanics at a local college. You can enjoy your childhood experiences and learn ahead at the same time. Many child geniuses would fit well as researchers or professors but not as doctors. Doctoring is just not something a 14 year old can do. Just because a person has all the knowledge required to be a doctor does not mean that person will function as a good doctor. Imagine for a minute that you are patient, do you wish to have a 16 year old kid examine you? Medicine is not an exact science nor should it be. A great doctor builds relationships based on trust and experience with his/her patients. Can I really trust a doctor who hasn’t gone through puberty? I dont know why would a med school admit someone who is 14 years old besides the fact that the school wants a fair amount of publicity.

Back to the topic. Rahulk, I am not trying to flame you. You are a smart kid no doubt. But dont think high intelligence = high SAT = admission to top colleges = success in life. You dont have to be normal, but remember experience comes only with age.

Yes, this child prodigy will probably be a medical researcher. I don’t think he will be a practioner. Someone that will cure aids or cancer…As for Rahulk, I do not think he is a child prodigy ( ie.Mozart) but extremely gifted, and ambitious…like everyone else on this board. Enjoy your teenage years. Working and being on call for the rest of your life is no fun.

hey everyone just to let u kno this kid is bannanaz i went to the UCLA mock trial institute with him and he is just plain wierd and stuck up. he talked about other people as if they were lower than him. Well to tell you guys know the true story about him he is 14 and he did not skip highschool (look at his previous posts). His parents bought him a diploma by supposedly setting him up a so called school in their home because the local one was not up to par, and then just graduated him themselves. He doesnt even know 86x 86.

everyone trust me this
he is not a child prodigy or a nerd
his social skills arent even closed to being developed
I know this b/c i worked with him for a week
He bought his hs diploma for god sakes

So this kid has a hs diploma? Did he fake his transcripts too?

I knew this little cry baby was a ■■■■■! Thanks headed south!

what did you work for him for?

i dont know about his transcript crypt but he is not a genius of any sort i can assure you all. He is just a little rich kid whose parents could afford to pull some major stings. His dad supposedly is a neurosurgeon and so is his mom. I think sometimes people forget that money can get u alot of things.

all the hype on this kid is unreasonable i mean come on people what kind of supposed genius would have a name raul k gosh!? Hes a little kid who hasnt even gone thru puberty and thinks that UCLA isnt up to par for him

Wait… if he has a hs diploma, then doesnt that mean he has a transcript. It would completely idiotic for him to apply using a diploma but not without transcripts.

I HATE arrogant brats like Rahul. Honestly…

I bet that ■■■■■ wont respond again. probably he’s crying to his daddy.

Uhmm how about let’s stop the flaming. He might be a little arrogant and I am sure he will learn his mistakes the hard way. For now just chill people…

Um guys, I have no i dea who headedsouth is. But yeah, whatever. I am actually applying 06 Fall to some universities. Things have been so great. I actually am planning to apply to Caltech and UCLA for transfer. I don’t know if I want to live away from Los Angeles, I just really thought about that. I could apply to Stanford and Columbia. I don’t want to bother with anything above Stanford. But yeah, SATs went great and stuff. Thanks for the people who gave me advice and things. And to the other people… ah, whatever. I would like to ask that everyone stop postingin this. If you have anything to tell me, just im me at Rahul K Ghosh or e-mail me at rahul.k.ghosh@gmail.com. K, laters.

How many hours did you cry before posting this crap, rahul?

this kid obviously has no life, friends, or activities to do. He is skipping 4 years of high school because he lacks any kind of social skills, his mother breast fed him until he was ten, and because he “thinks” he is intellectually superior. I hope you get denied by every college. Why don’t you work hard and go to high school instead of listening to your “mommy” telling you how smart you are?

hehe. i agree. This kid hasnt reached puberty yet.
