Not sure if even half applies to my D. College was no biggie except the workload, She got used to that, too, quickly.

D just finished her first semester and the one that stands out for me is #1. She very quickly realized she would never wear all the clothes she’d brought, and brought a bunch home at Thanksgiving, and another pile home this trip. She dresses much more causally now than she did in HS. At least one didn’t apply-there is no opposite-sex visiting in rooms in her school, especially for freshmen, so she doesn’t need a place to crash. It was one of the reasons she looked at that type of school, and it’s paid off.
