Thought some of us could use a restored faith in humanity story.

Two Pennsylvania teens chase down a car with a kidnapped young girl in it until the kidnapper released her. Details are a little sparse but thankfully the girl is ok.

Thank you, Lerg. I was posting from my phone (which also explains the brevity of my OP) and it was hard for me to find a decent article.

There’s a little boy in our shelter right now (9 years old, African American, from an abusive and poor household but with a fantastic mom who is doing a fantastic job of getting their lives together and keeping them safe) who is just the sweetest kid I’ve ever met. A lot of our kids come in and have bad anger issues, even as young as four or five. To get a boy this sweet at 9 is just a complete rarity. He tries to take care of all the other kids in the shelter and today calmly walked up to a mom who is not the best with her kids and said “Ma’am, I think if you stop yelling at him, he’ll stop crying, and then you won’t have to yell.” It stopped me in my tracks because he’s just so young… little kids like him give me hope that even coming from bad situations, they can persevere.

Anyway, the point is, I can totally see this kid doing EXACTLY what Temar and his friends did without a second thought. I wish we could see more positive stories like this.
