<p>Is this really that important? Would it be alright if I wrote like 3 sentences? On the paper application there are only 4 lines which makes me think it should be really short.</p>
<p>Three sentences would definitely not cut it. Whereas I do not see a need to get overly creative (i.e. write a story with a hook and all that), I would definitely suggest really “elaborate” on an activity using the whole 150-word-space that is allotted.</p>
<p>In terms of importance, this is definitely less important than the CommonApp essay, which in turn is less important than short answers/essays from supplement. Hence my belief that creativity is not necessary – state clearly what you did and what you got out of it. Then move on.</p>
