150 words or less???

My short response for EC on commonapp has been 225 words, but it still can be saved and no error has happened. Then is that over-word response ok? If so, then why does the commonapp claims 150 words or less?

Another question/
the counselor school forms on the commonapp will automatically upload user’s information (required to be printed) and counselor’s infor(too be printed), because these has been filled in the application before. However the subject teacher’s hasn’t, so how can I upload my subject teacher’s information onto the teacher evaluation form? Since the name need to be printed, I can’t just get the form out and ask my teacher to sign his name by handwriting. The same circumstance happens in my international supplement form too, where my counselor’s name, though I’ve filled in the app and it does show up in counselor school forms, fails to appear on the underline of name which also asked to be printed/typed. Could any one teach me how to make the commonapp successfully upload those to-be-printed information onto the forum?

It tells you to write 150 words or less. It doesn’t tell you to write until you can’t save it.

[print - Wiktionary](<a href=“print - Wiktionary, the free dictionary”>print - Wiktionary, the free dictionary) Look at definition 2.

Thank you pFNMCp.
still a little question. the form says “Please print or type”. I consider it not suggesting about writing style, but the way of filling.

Well then, you consider it wrongly.

Has anyone succeed in upload his or her teacher’s name onto the form?

Go to the CA website but do not log in. Go to Forms, and download a Rec form, type in the info and save. You can print off and give to your teacher or e-mail the pdf.

btw: agree with the others…the art of good writing is good editing. 200+ words is too long. Cut it down to 150+10% or ~165.

I really appreciate blue ba you! It works
