153A Summer and MCAT?

How tough is 153A over summer? Usually Nakamoto teaches it I think.
I was considering doing 153A with MCAT course from Berkeley Review but I’ve heard both are really tough and I’ll get really burnt out. Does that sound like torture???

The idea of MCAT during summer sounds really appealing and I just wanna get the test over with. I could wait to take 153A with a better professor, like Tienson but for some reason I also thought that would be easier during summer.

My original plan was to study on my own during summer and then take a class during fall but I’m re-thinking that…

Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions?

Thanks!

You should just do what you think is best for you. Everyone works differently so I can’t really give you advice.

I’ll tell you what I did. I took 153a in the Spring (with Nelson…) and then took the entire summer to study for the MCAT. I think taking 153a with a very difficult teacher helped prepare me for the MCAT a ton. I studied on my own and worked very hard throughout the Summer and I can’t imagine doing it while taking classes. Summer classes ARE generally easier, but they also move at a much faster pace.
