15th Year Anniversary Dinner Ideas

Hi all. I am a lucky man. I met the most wonderful woman 18 years ago and we have been married for 14 years and 50 weeks as of today. November 4th will be our 15th year anniversary. I am looking for a nice place for dinner in Morris County, NJ or anywhere close to Morris County. We live in Madison, NJ to be exact. Thanks for the suggestions beforehand.

Serenade in Chatham. La Focaccia in Summit (I think it is BYOB).

Bernards Inn in Bernardsville

Verona in Randolph

For our 30th, we went back to the restaurant of our first date …

It’s impressive that it was still in business.

Yes, many of my favorite restaurants have closed or morphed into something else, including the restaurant where H proposed. :frowning:

Last summer we met friends who live in NJ at the Pluckemin Inn which I think is in Bedminster. It was wonderful.

I have also been to a restaurant called Ninety Acres in Peapack which is also very nice. Not as intimate as the Pluckemin but beautiful ambience - especially the outside garden dining area.

Thanks for all the suggestions. We will check these places out and pick one.

So cool that you were able to go back to the same place after 30 years. In our case, when we married, we were still in college and living together off campus even before married. We didn’t have a wedding ceremony and the night we married we went to McDonalds back in our country in Eastern Europe. I offered my wife to go back to McDonalds on our 15th year anniversary, she said No. My kids loved the idea though.

@ArdenNJ Maybe McDonalds for lunch followed by a nice dinner??? In any event, happy anniversary!

Or at least an egg mcmuffin for breakfast.

Congrats, @ArdenNJ on your upcoming anniversary.

Thanks @happy1
Thanks @doschicos

Breakfast or lunch at McDonals has been approved by my wife. She says hello to you guys. She will pick the dinner place.

Sounds perfect. Enjoy!

I do love 90 Acres for drinks. It is a beautiful ground.
Pluckermin Inn is also very cool.
Looks like Harvestmoon1 hang out at similar places as I do.

Hey guys and gals

What do you think about below thing? Nov 4th is our anniversary and seems like a good thing to do. Let me know what you think.

Did you ask your wife if she wants to do the wine tasting dinner? It sounds like fun, but it changes the focus of your celebration.

@Bromfield2

I told her she could pick the place. I also gave her the places that was suggested on this thread. If she comes back to me and says she couldn’t pick something or she wants me to pick, I will propose the wine tasting dinner. I have never been to a wine tasting dinner that’s why I wanted to know what people here thought.

It’s good of you to give her options and I’m sure the two of you will have a great time!

The wine tasting sounds fabulous to me, but not a romantic dinner for two. If she loves the idea it’s great.

If it is a sitdown dinner and not a gigantic event where everyone is sitting at one huge table, it could be a good way to celebrate.
