will getting 1800 in SAT get me in any of the UCs?

I think most will say “depends on the rest of your application”

Do you have a really good GPA? What was your ACT score? How about subject test?

What ECs do you have?

There are many factors besides the SAT. But that is a very big one.

what if I say I have 3.47 non-wgtd and 3.65 weighted for GPA as 9 - 12, 3.46 non-wgtd and 3.71 weighted as GPA from 10 - 12, and 3.53 non-wgtd and 3.68 weighted as GPA for 9-12?

Since UC is more expensive than Cal State, if you didn’t get into top 6 UCs (below UCSB, UCI, UCD), you should just go to a Cal State.

Also Cal State offers degree that are more technical and practical (nursing, accounting, etc.). I would choose college based on your career goal.

Best wishes.

It really depends on which UC school you want to get into. UC Berkeley and LA are some of the harder UCs, and like Fflmaster said, it depends on the rest of your application. Good luck ^^
