Being the kind of kid I am and that I only have busy work I have been researching law schools. Some of the applicants have above a 4.0, can you get above a 4.0 in college?
Boalt anyone?

Claire’s addiction (among others…) = http://lawschoolnumbers.com/schools.php?x=3a2748e7db208baa1cf72335e85fa6b5

haha Clairesolo, ive already visited that site. Im majoring in Philosophy and maybe something else if i have time. I really think i want to go to law school, but i might want to be a psychologist. The Law Schools i like now for some reason are Berkeley, University of Chicago, and NYU. And im not sure if you can get over a 4.0. At my high school an A+ would be a 4.33. i guess it all depends on how the school works it out; some schools the max gpa is a 4

at UCSD the highest you can get is a 4.0 , as an A and A+ are only worth 4.

what…? i remember attending my sister’s graduation ceremony and heard various graduate’s names along with their gpa’s… i remember they mentioned 4. somethings

maybe I am stupid.

but maybe I have something to back it up :0

thanks, the scaled is a little harsh… a b+ is a 3.3

so 91% no longer cuts it as a 4.0 grade
not only do you have to outcompete the B and C students but then you have to outcompete all the overachievers in the class as well (someone will have to get that A- and a 3.7 added to their GPA instead of a 4.0)

but if you do a bit better than a B student, you get a bit of a bonus for it - that’s the way it works – i think it makes things more even – those who are going for a solid B have more of an incentive to try harder to get that 3.3 or even 3.7 instead of just thinking that they can do just enough work to get a solid B

Hmm thats what B+ is in my school (3.33 to be exact) Why is that harsh?

it was a 3.5 at mine

oh god, this makes me want to cry.

APs were the only thing keeping my GPA up. :(
