<p>I can’t seem to find any summer programs for older students, who may have taken a gap year (or two, in my case) and want to return to education. Summer programs seem to be divided into 3 groups: middle school, high school, and undergrad/grad. </p>
<p>I’m mainly interested in materials science & engineering and want to bolster my application for the fall, as well as decide if a field of science is “right for me”. Any recommendations? My guidance counselor is only familiar with programs for high school students. :(</p>
