<p>if you can get it transferred to your name, then you can get the discount…it’s worth it if you have good credit and take on a family plan. save loads of $$</p>

<p>Unfortunately the university purchasing contract with Verizon, that enables CU faculty and staff to obtain Verizon phones and services at a discounted rate (see <a href=“http://www.purchasing.cornell.edu/verizon.cfm[/url]”>http://www.purchasing.cornell.edu/verizon.cfm&lt;/a&gt;) is not able to be extended to students. You are wise to shop around; in a competitive cell phone market there are many deals to be found. </p>
