1930-1960-1950 from Kaplnan-What's the plan?

So far, I did 3 sets of test from Kaplan.

1st try:M 760 CR 590 W 600 (Total:1930)
2nd try:M 720 CR 590 W 650 (Total:1960)
3rd try:M 650 CR 610 W 690 (Total: 1950)

Average: M 710 CR 597 W 647 (Total: 1947)

Do you think it’s reasonable to get above 2200 on Oct.6 SAT??
What do I need to get above 2200 then?

thanks.

It seems as if your writing and math fluctuate greatly, and that you probably need most help on the Critical Reading. I’d brush up on unfamiliar concepts/rules for the math/grammar, and would consider memorizing a big word list or reading a lot of good novels. Also, while your at it, give a Collegeboard exam a try. I say that because it seems as if Kaplan purposely makes their exams more difficult than Collegeboard’s.

thanks…like I did one more practice test, and I got total score of 1950!
what is wrong with me??? I’m, just hitting all 1900’s for 4 times, with no improvement…

What are you doing between these tests?

I took a Kaplan test before my SAT and score in the 1800s (possibly low 1900s?) and scored a 2080 on the actual test. It’s not possible to tell if you can get a 2200 (which is a 99 percentile score) based on those test scores alone, though. What math course have you completed? Are you a strong test taker? Can you complete these tests with the time allowed and with possible minor distractions? (To this end, Kaplan does something interesting with its CD. Every half-minute or so, there is an annoying sound, such as a window breaking, to prepare the test taker for minor disturbances.) Are you typically a strong essay writer, and can you pull together a five-paragraph essay on a given topic in twenty minutes?

I just review all the questions, and take good note on the questions I got wrong, I guess I sould just practice more. Thanks!
