<p>I think so, but it also matters what your major will be.</p>

<p>I think I should clarify a little bit more…it matters if you are applying to a specialty school like Smith and that is the only reason you would attend. </p>
<p>I think you are def in, and could get scholars, gemstone, or honors but if it is engineering that is your major, I think you are on the low end for that field.</p>
<p>For the past 3 yrs, UMD has been breaking application records, with the economy and stock market the way it is many kids are applying to state colleges, which means the competition is increasing. </p>
<p>My question is, are you trying to determine if this is a safety or match? If it is safety are you wondering that you will get merit, scholars, gemstone or honors?</p>
