Hey guys,

Do you know where to put that I am a 1st gen college student on the app? Is it implied after putting your parents’ education?

2

nah it was on scholarships

3

Ooh phew, I have that too. What about the language requirement? (3 years of high school), I don’t recall a spot for that either.

4

You have to prove it during the IGETC certification process.

5

What if I went the 7-course breadth requirement pathway for UC Berkeley? I won’t have IGETC certified because I’m only applying for Cal and the 7-course breadth is a choice for general education reqs.

during the january update, not the one for UC in general but the one for cal only, you will have to input your data. you will have the option of choosing IGETC or seven breadth, and I guess if you got admitted, you would have to send in your high school transcipt.
