1st Semester Sopomore Year Schedule:

Need feedback advice from my fellow CCers about which course schedule seems more doable.

Schedule 1:
Gay and Lesbian Studies 254
Multi-variable Calculus 191
Elementary Spanish I 101
Computer Science 101

OR

Schedule 2:
Physics I 101
Multi-variable Calculus 191
Biomathematics 205
Computer Science 101

The first by far! Unless you’re really super mathy/techy…

Gay and Lesbian studies? Gimme a break… and don’t take Spanish either, you don’t need it despite what they preach nowadays. Take the second schedule. You’ll thank me.

The first one is easier…

but what is your major?

@MLD: Math major. I can’t take any math classes geared towards my major until I complete 191 as 191 is a prereq for practically all of the upper level math courses that are geared towards my major.

@antipacifist: As a bisexual man, I would like to learn more about my community so I can’t really give you a break my friend. And can we not go there? I simply asked about which schedule seems more doable not about if the courses should be taught or not. And spanish has always interested me.

If you take any non-math/engineering courses you most likely won’t get a job for 5 of 6 years.

^Huh? lol. But if my major is Mathematics how won’t I get a job? I can’t take ALL math classes every semester, I do have to take other classes you know.

lol. I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic or what but your comment made no sense.

Schedule 1 is definitely more doable. I would take that one if you want to go fairly deep into Spanish before graduation.
