2.7 gpa. chances of getting into grad school???

I currently have a 2.7 gpa (slowly rising up) and am graduating June '14 with a BS in Kinesiology from Cal Poly Pomona. I have been volunteering in a few rehab centers for occupational therapy since that is what I want to do. What are my chances of getting in grad school? What should I do from here till then to improve besides working on my gpa?

I currently have 3 schools in mind since they require less than a 3.0:
NYU Steinhardt
A.T. Still University
Midwestern University-Glendale

Would other Cal state require <3.0 ? why won’t you apply them ?

My school (Arizona State University) requires a 3.40 GPA in order to be eligible for admission into their Master’s program. I’m not sure what most universitites require but I would definitely do all that you can to bring your GPA up. If money and time are of no issue, you can try to retake classes that you received a poor grade in with the hopes of getting a better grade the second time around. That would bring your GPA up some.
