2.98 GPA to UC tag?

I have a 2.98 GPA, and I was thinking i’d apply for tag. I don’t know if they’d even accept it. I don’t have much hope they will but if one of the universities were to, would it be ucsc or ucm? UCSC seems like a better university than UCM but their requirements on the website says a 3.0 for three of my core classes, which I have. For merced, they want a 3.0 overall. What do you guys think?

Only certain majors at UCM qualify for TAG with a a GPA of 2.98.

It looks like psych is the only major you won’t qualify for. I say go for it…

Also apply to a CSU you are confident will take you.
