<p>The first: on the short answer essay (the one about one of our activities), do they expect the 150 words in narrative form or just basic description? I’m inclined to think the latter, but I just wanted to be sure</p>

<p>Second: My school offers many AP classes, but it places restrictions on how many you can take, based on your grade and the academic path you’re following. Thus, it’s impossible to take anywhere near the maximum AP load at my high school. Will the adcoms recognize this, or do I have explain this in the additional info section on the common application?</p>

<p>To answer the second: your guidance counselor should explain this. Your guidance counselor has to fill out a form indicating whether your courseload was “rigorous” or not for your school. So that should take care of that.</p>

<p>If I remember correctly the 150 word essay is to write about an EC that is meaningful to you. As long as you remember that the adcoms want to learn about you incontext of this EC, which ever way you decide to write should be ok.</p>
