<p>Is this okay or admissions-suicide?</p>

<p>For a few of my applications I am writing two essays on different aspects of my background. One is for the common app essay and the other is for a supplement. The common app essay works well for the “significant experience” prompt and the supplement one works well for its prompt. They are very different essays, and discuss different aspects of my heritage. </p>

<p>However, they are both about my heritage.</p>
