<p>I have already applied to 11 dchools EA and 2 RD and i plan on applying to 6-7 more RD am i crazy? I just want to apply to as many schools as possible to maximize my chances</p>
<p>Applying to more schools doesn’t necessarily improve your chances. It is not mathematically equivalent to a lottery where the more tickets you buy the better the odds. Stick to the standard approach - reaches, matches and safeties. Make sure you like all the schools (safeties too!), 3 to 4 in each category and if you have some extra time and money apply to a couple more. If the 13 schools you’ve applied to already fit into this model you could stop now.</p>
