What is UMich’s (Ann Arbor) admissions email address (unrelated to the question below)?

Two weeks after I applied for regular/rolling admission, I received a deferral notice. In the notice, UMich says that it wants to see my first semester grades. I received all A’s (4.0 UW, 4.83 W) with a 5 AP/1 regular courseload. Does it mean that I’m likely to get admitted?

2.no one can insure you that you will get admitted or not. but yes, your pretty grades will help in the consideration and make you stand out in a pool of competitors. all you can do is send in your pretty cool scores and just wait.
would you like to tell what type of deferral letter you received?

I don’t think your midyear report can really help you. I would just see it as a way to weed out students that slacked off Sr year. But if they could help you, yours definitely did

@Della: I searched the site but could not find the admissions email address. If I did find it, I would not have asked. The deferral notice that I received includes the following:

“After an initial individualized and comprehensive review of your application, we have determined that we will need additional information in order to make a final decision. We need this additional information and time to ensure that we give your application the best possible review.”

and

“The quality of grades earned in academic courses is one of several critical factors taken into consideration in evaluating a student’s competitive admissibility. To give your application a final evaluation, we will need your fall semester or first trimester grades.”

Like Della1993, I believe your grades grant you a high chance of acceptance.

About their e-mail, I don’t believe one exists (at least it isn’t available for applicants). For contact purposes, you may use the Live Help (I used it once) or the Custom Help available on UMich’s website.

OH, i’m sorry, i misunderstood. i thought you were asking for the home page.
as for the email address, i remember they have one. because i sent them a email like several months ago. but i cannot find it now. if i find it, i will share it right away!
