“On Wednesday, New York lawyer David Anziska announced plans to sue 20 more schools. He hopes there will be more. “I truly believe that at the end of this process nearly every law school in the country will be sued,” he said in a press release. The National Law Journal and Inside Higher Ed have stories.
Two of the targeted law schools—Pepperdine and American University-—are ranked among the top 50 by U.S. News & World Report. The average debt load for graduates of the 20 targeted schools is nearly $115,000, according to the press release.”

The National Law Journal corrects that the lawsuits against the 20 additional schools won’t be filed until after Memorial Day, bringing the total to 34 law schools being sued for falsifying published statistics.

Since it has been such a topic of discussion lately, it is interesting to note that 40% of these schools are CATHOLIC.

American and Pepperdine are ranked in the top 50.

Too many law schools and too many students who have no business going to law school does not make for a good outcome. Add a lack of research into the mix and this is what you get.
