2000 hours of community service?

<p>Does close to 2000 hours of community service in addition to having just started a website/nonprofit make me a potential competitive applicant for Yale/VCU/Princeton/NorthWestern? </p>

<p>Also 4.0 gpa, competitive private school
Will post other stats once I get SATs and finish exams.</p>

<p>2,000 is an incredible feat–so yes, you would likely stand out. I’d actually be interested to hear about your community service and passions (if they are related) in an essay, but as kameronsmith said, you have to write it well in order to take advantage of your accomplishments.</p>
