Hey guys!
Just wondering… my SAT superscore is 2000, but my Cr+M score is kind of low. It’s only 1290. I’m worried because my friends are saying that colleges don’t really care about writing score anymore. (like, I must score at least 1350 cr+m to compete with other applicants who got +2000 total) *sigh
Do I still have a chance for colleges that usually accept sat score of 2000 with high cr+m score? :/

Sorry if this question is hard to understand…My English is not very good
haha

It really depends which colleges you are applying to. Some look at the writing more than others and some weigh SATs more than others.

My college list so far…
Virginia Tech
Purdue
Georgia Tech
George Washington
James Madison
George Mason (safety)
Virginia Commonwealth (safety)
Penn state (safety)
- Super high reach…
UVA
U of Michigan
NYU
Emory

How likely will I get into any of these colleges? (just by looking at my SAT superscore/cr+m)

bump… Anyone?

Uva and emory might be a problem

For UVA, NYU, and Emory, you will have to make sure the rest of your application is top-notch, but don’t worry too much. You are still in a good position.

you’re right at the mean for gw…should be ok
