<p>This year Dartmouth had three winners while Princeton, Yale and Brown had one each, rounding out the Ivy’s six fellowships.</p>

<p>Bedney '07 earns Rockefeller fellowship</p>

<p>"Adriana Bedney '07, a psychology major from Queens Village, N.Y., was recently awarded a 2006 Fellowship for Aspiring Teachers of Color.</p>

<pre><code>The fellowship, awarded annually [since 1992] by the Rockefeller Brothers Funds, provides up to $22,100 over a five-year period that concludes after the first three years of public school teaching.

Bedney said she was thrilled by the news, especially since she had not heard about the fellowship when she entered Princeton’s Program in Teacher Preparation.

“I wasn’t sure if I was going to receive it because they can only choose 25 fellows from more than 20 schools,” she said.
